If you have questions after the surgery, the doctor will take his time and talk to you even after hours to make sure your concerns are heard. I would give them 10 stars if I could! "So I was recommended here by my dentist because I had an infected wisdom tooth that absolutely would not get numb...I filled out my paperwork online then went in on a Wednesday and had no problems with anything...the dental assistants were very nice, courteous,and professional. Dr. West called me in the office and briefed me and asked me some questions and come to find out I needed a couple more teeth pulled also...they were added in at the very last minute and the extra cost was as normal...All I know is I went to sleep talking to the assistant and woke up talking to her like it didn't even happen....over all this was a much needed and wonderful experience!!! These people were great!!!"

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about this oral surgeon’s office. They removed my 15-year-old daughter’s wisdom teeth, and the entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. The doctor performed the surgery beautifully, and my daughter’s recovery has gone so smoothly because of their skill and care.The nurses were amazing as well — they kept a close eye on her, made sure she was comfortable, and answered every question I had. When I thought she might be having an issue during recovery, they didn’t hesitate to get us right back in. They checked her thoroughly and gave me complete peace of mind.Finding a medical team that is both highly skilled and genuinely compassionate is rare, but this office has it all. "If I could give 10/10 stars I would. I have never been to such an amazing place. I was nervous going in there, but the receptionist was so friendly as well as everyone else in there. I truly believe they try to make you feel at home. I had two wisdom teeth pulled and two other badly broken teeth pulled and they did a great job, it was a very fast process! Dr.Chrissman and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!"

"I had the best wisdom teeth removal surgery experience ever here at North Mississippi Oral Maxillofacial surgery! The entire staff was very patient and open for any questions i had about my procedure. The initial reviews of Dr. Roberts eased my mind before even meeting him. Getting to meet him in person was great, he explained the entire process in great detail. I was super nervous to the point where I got very emotional being that it was my first surgery ever, but the female dental assistants comforted and relaxed me within minutes along with the ladies at the front desk. It was truly amazing. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for wisdom teeth removal!"

He could play a role of an action movie (helicopter pilot) and it left me at ease knowing I was going under with my health in his hands. After surgery like many others have mentioned no swelling/minimum pain. I’d like to attribute that to my preparation of celery and pineapple juice but realistic it was the amazing surgeons and the simplicity of my wisdom teeth position.Once I woke up, I didn’t get the chance to thank whoever gave me a free t shirt that was cool. "I wanted to share how amazing and friendly the staff is, and Dr. West is awesome! I had to get 4 wisdom teeth removed and they had me in and out very timely as well as providing all the necessities for recovery. There was a complication in my healing but at no fault of the staff I just got pretty unlucky, however when I came back in they again were so polite and reassuring, that was this morning and I feel so much better now, to go from having trouble just laying in bed without pain to almost no pain is unbelievable. They deserve 10 stars but unfortunately Google doesn’t go that high lol."

"Dr. Bauer did a phenomenal job, as well as my nurse. I forgot her name because I was under anesthesia, but she was amazing. She had shorter blonde hair and was from Mooreville. I was very scared because I haven’t had many dental issues or been put to sleep. They made me feel normal, did everything to make me feel comfortable, and safe. Answered all of my questions. Got me an appointment within a week of consult, and I have had zero pain or issues because I followed the after care instructions. Not even any pain the day of surgery or the day after. Just pressure. I really expected to be in pain when my medication wore off, but I’m 9 days out and not a single stitch of pain. Wonderful doctor. I know his skills had something to do with that. Thank you for making me feel safe to do things in the future. I won’t be afraid."

From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff were kind, professional, and made us feel at ease. The surgeon Dr. Roberts was excellent—thorough, skilled, and truly compassionate. He took the time to explain everything clearly, and the procedure went smoothly.What really stood out to me was the care after the surgery. The team of ladies who helped walk my daughter to the car were so sweet and gentle, treating her like their own. Later that evening, I had a concern and called the office after hours. Dr. Roberts personally returned my call within minutes and was incredibly reassuring and helpful.It’s rare to find a medical office that combines professionalism with genuine care, but this team does it perfectly. "The office staff at North MS Oral/ Maxillofacial were nice and very helpful with insurance and paperwork. The office is professional, and they did a good job keeping everything simple and as comfortable as they could. The X-ray tech was super sweet and friendly, and the doctor was amazing! He was so relaxed and confident and really put me at ease. I don’t remember anything after they pushed the meds, but I do know all 4 wisdoms teeth came out. It’s been 5 days, and I’ve had no complications or complaints other than the pain I was told I would have while I was healing. I’m even back to eating some (soft) real food!My only very minor complaint was the waiting - appointment time was 11:30, and I didn’t leave until almost 2:00. (They did do X-rays and doctor had a short consultation with me before I went into the chair, so I wasn’t just sitting in the waiting room doing nothing.) However, I try not to be too critical of wait times with these types of professions (doctors, dentists, etc). They can’t predict how every situation will go or what urgent things may pop up from time to time.All in all, I think my visit went as smooth as it could have, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing dental surgery or wisdom teeth removal! Your patience will be rewarded with a great staff and professional care that puts you at ease during a not-so-fun experience."
"I definitely recommend going here if you are needing your wisdom teeth removed or any other oral surgery! I was scared for days worrying about the anesthesia and I was so nervous of not waking up but everyone there was so kind and eased my nerves about it. You have people monitoring you 24/7 while you are under and making sure you are comfortable and breathing normally. My healing process was a breeze and I was able to eat normal in the next week! Might I also add that I was able to do a consultation in the same day as my surgery which was very easy to go through and fast!"

"I was very pleased with my visit. I’ve always heard the stories of how painful recovery can be after wisdom teeth removal. I can honestly say I had only 5% pain through the whole recovery. I wouldn’t even call it pain it was just the swelling and uncomfortable feeling of the stitches. I am currently 1 week post op, my stitches have already dissolved and I am almost fully healed. (I took over the counter pain meds three times a day rotating through three different types, for reference). I don’t know if it was the placement of my teeth or just the doctor is general but I had an easy surgery and an amazing recovery with basically no pain. I have yet to get dry socket either. I would highly recommend coming here for wisdom teeth removal.Experience is rated 10/10"
"I was referred here by my dentist Dr. Shutt. I was confident this was the best clinic for implants when Dr. Shutt said Dr. Bauer is who took care of her mom! That’s all I needed to know. The staff are extremely courteous and explain everything about how to prepare and what to expect. The price I will pay for getting implants will be worth it to be able to not be in pain and eat a T-Bone steak!I wish I could give them 10 Stars!!!!!!!!"

"After moving to Mississippi several years ago, I have had a terrible time trying to find a full sedation dental surgery center that will allow me to pursue the work I need to have done. I was referred to North Mississippi Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by my dentist at Premiere Dental here in Tupelo for my process needs, and can’t even begin to tell you how amazing they were and have been. Professional, kind, respectful, gentle, and attentive are just the tip of it all. They treated me with the care you would expect from family and never made me feel that my concerns were silly or that I was being unreasonable in my concerns. I was referred to North Mississippi Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by my dentist at Premiere Dental here in Tupelo for my process needs, and can’t even begin to tell you how amazing they were and have been. Professional, kind, respectful, gentle, and attentive are just the tip of it all. They treated me with the care you would expect from family and never made me feel that my concerns were silly or that I was being unreasonable in my concerns. "Y'all, I was so extremely terrified, awkward and uncomfortable. The whole time, all the way to that chair I was feeling sick to my stomach. I had to have 2 wisdom teeth and two molars extracted. Dr.Baur and his assistants Jennifer and Vicky were so sweet and helpful. Literally just kept letting me know it was going to be okay and all. Dr. Baur came in and he is so nice and makes you feel comfortable. He is very good at what he does. Didn't take long at all and had the patience to sit and talk to make sure I was comfortable before moving forward. I recommend their office as they are all very nice and accommodating."

"Dr Bauer and the staff are great, very helpful. I went in to have two wisdom teeth removed. I didn't respond well to the dental anesthesia, I wasn't calm or manageable. Any other doctor would've given me a higher dose and tried to continue the surgery, but Dr Bauer didn't. I was rescheduled for surgery under general anesthesia in the hospital. ((IMPORTANT NOTE The dental surgery cost is different from the hospital's cost for general anesthesia! I wasn't informed of that until I spoke with the hospital during pre-op.)) The hospital staff was excellent and the whole process was very smooth. I strongly distrust the medical world generally after so many bad experiences but I believe these people are trustworthy, and that's a lot coming from me."

"I had a wisdom tooth extracted by Dr Williams last week. Everyone there was really sweet, nice, and polite. They did an awesome job explaining what all was going to be happening the whole time. We did have some miscommunication but they were amazing and very patient with me. Monday, I was still hurting (ended up with dry socket) and they did what they could to make me feel better. Went back today and they helped clear things up with the miscommunication. Was never once rude. Dr. Williams is very sweet, the staff is absolutely wonderful. Dr. Roberts put me at ease in the consultation before the surgery. Thankfully, I have felt no pain and have had no complications whatsoever. Even the Nurse who inserted IV for the sedation didn't cause me any pain. Oddly, I developed a persistent case of the hiccups after the procedure that woke me up twice the night after the extraction. I felt silly calling the Dr.'s office to ask about this, but I did. His staff was very understanding and helpful even though I called on the busiest day of their schedule. They took the time to phone me in an Rx to help with the issue and Dr. Roberts even called me at 7:30 P.M. after their office Christmas Party to check on me! Thank you, Dr. Roberts and your amazing staff!!"
