W. Blake Maharrey, DMD

W. Blake Maharrey, D.M.D., joined North Mississippi Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates in August of 2024. Dr. Maharrey was raised in Oxford, MS, where he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi. He completed dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. Dr. Maharrey then went on to complete Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he served as Chief Resident from 2023-2024.

One year of his training was spent at Cooper University Hospital, which serves as the regional Trauma Center for southern New Jersey. His professional interests include wisdom teeth and dentoalveolar surgery, implants, bone grafting, trauma reconstruction, and maxillofacial pathology. Dr. Maharrey is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the American Dental Association.

His enthusiasm and dedication to patient care make him a wonderful addition to our staff at North Mississippi Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates.
