J. Frazier Williams, DMD, MD

Dr. Frazier Williams, DMD, MD is a native of North Mississippi, growing up in Caledonia.  He graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi State University with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, and then moved on to graduate with honors from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Dental Medicine.

While in Dental School, he joined the United States Navy to continue a long history of military service within his family.  While in the Navy, he was deployed with the 2nd Marine Logistics Group to Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan where he served at Dental Department Head in 2011 during Operation Enduring Freedom.  After his time overseas, he was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.

He then returned to his home state and was accepted into the UMMC dual-degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency.  He earned his Doctorate of Medicine in 2015 and then went on to complete his surgery and anesthesia training.  He was Chief Resident from 2017-2018.

Dr. Williams joined North Mississippi Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Associates in the summer of 2018.  His clinical interests include wisdom teeth and dentoalveolar surgery, implantology and novel bone grafting techniques, as well as facial trauma and reconstruction.  He is married to Jessica and they have two precious children.  He enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.  He and his wife are music buffs and they enjoy seeing as many live concerts as they can squeeze into their busy schedule.  In any other spare time, you can find him rooting for his teams, Mississippi State and the New Orleans Saints.
