Charles W. Wikle, DDS, Emeritus

Wikle, DDS, established his practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery in 1974 and continued his practicing until his recent retirement in July 2014.  He has been board certified as a diplomate by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery since 1975. Dr. Wikle attended the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and completed his residency at University of Tennessee Memphis. Dr. Wikle served two years in the United States Navy as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He has served the North Mississippi area for 36 years.

Dr. Wikle’s primary clinical interest is in dentolalveolar surgery, implant surgery, and pain control with intravenous sedation/anesthesia. He is board certified as a diplomate by the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. Dr. Wikle is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the Mississippi Dental Association, American Dental Association, Mississippi Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Southeastern Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has been elected to membership in the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists.

Dr. Wikle has served the North Mississippi area for 40 years and continues to be involved in community activities in his retirement.
